Susan Francis

In 2020, Susan Francis’ debut memoir, The Love that Remains was published by Allen and Unwin. She is currently writing her second book, a novel centered around the controversy of the Balibo Five. She was recently a finalist in the Varuna House Publisher Introduction program, and has been interviewed about her memoir in a broad variety of media, including ABC Conversations and Mamamia’s, No Filter. Susan’s short stories have been published widely, encompassing publications such as Better Read Than Dead anthology, 2020 and Newcastle Short Story anthology, 2019. She is a popular speaker at libraries, festivals and book clubs.
