Sam Elkin

Sam Elkin is a trans masculine writer and radio maker living on unceded Wurundjeri land. Sam has been a Wheeler Centre Next Chapter fellow, and his essays have been published in the Griffith Review, Overland, Kill Your Darlings and Bent Street. Sam has produced a number of radio shows including Transgender Warriors, Transdemic (which received a 2020 GLOBE community award for best LGBTIQ media reporting) and 3RRR’s Queer View Mirror. In 2021, Sam received an Australian Society of Authors Mentorship, and he is currently working on a debut memoir.
