Through her work she tries to translate her whakapapa as a Ngati Hine Māori woman living on unceded Gadigal land. She is a member of the Pasifika Storytellers collective, Ante Arts Collective, is a recipient of the Emerging Writers Festival’s at home residency program and currently works as the Creative Producer at the Youth Arts organisation Outloud, delivering social impact arts projects to young people in Western Sydney.
