Jeanette Severs is a career journalist who exited the newsroom in 1999 & pivoted into business as a freelance journo, editor & technical writer, in rural Victoria. Jeanette is a recognised & award-winning investigative & generalist journalist, writing regularly for a range of newspapers, magazines & online. Jeanette provides technical expertise & specialist advice to corporates & governments across a range of industries. She is a published author & poetry scribbler. Jeanette is an advocate for social policy, recognising the diversity & value of rural communities, rural economies & workforces, gender equity, technology & communications. She swims in open water.
