Carissa Lee

Carissa Lee is a Noongar woman born on Wemba-Wemba Country, and is an actor, writer and PhD candidate. Carissa’s writing has featured with The Guardian, Junkee, Book Riot and Witness Performance. She has featured in The SammyJ Show, House Husbands, and recently finished a season of Noongar play ‘Ngargnk‘ at La Mama for The Yirramboi Festival. When she’s not acting or writing, Carissa works as a commissioning editor in Indigenous Public Policy for The Conversation.
