Amarachi Okorom

Amarachi Okorom is a Nigerian born Igbo actor, spoken word poet and emerging playwright. She grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2013 she moved to Melbourne, where she studied and graduated with a Bachelor of Technology. Amarachi has performed in various venues in Melbourne and Geelong and is currently working with Western Edge Youth Arts as an Admin and Marketing Intern. She is also part of their flagship ensemble, Sub30 Collective. Amarachi has recently started diving into writing for stage and has been in residency in 2020 for dramaturgy help with Lonely Company.
