YouTube
A number of events will be livestreamed to our YouTube channel. Access links will become available on event listing pages before the event.
YouTube is compatible with screen readers, offers Dark theme and has keyboard shortcuts.
DISCORD – JOIN THE CONVERSATION DAILY!
Discord is where The Early Words events and a lot of the daily conversations will take place between the attendees during EWF. You’ll be able to join our general chat, or use The Early Words channel to workshop your words. Make sure you read our Community Guidelines on our Discord as the chat won’t be monitored 24/7, but we welcome you to use it as a space to network, chat about the events and connect with a community of like-minded digital storytelling champs.
Live Captioning and Auslan Interpretation
Live captioning and Auslan interpretation will be booked for a number of key events during the festival. If you require either of these services for an event that is not listed, please make a note on the checkout page when you buy your ticket. Alternatively, contact us at access@emergingwritersfestival.org.au and we would be happy to organise captioning/interpreting for the event/s you’d like to attend.
