Julia Carlomagno

Julia is an associate publisher and managing editor at Black Inc., where she is lucky to work with some of the country’s best writers. A book editor for 16 years, she has worked at a variety of companies including Scribe, Penguin and Macmillan. Julia has won two national awards for editing, the Barbara Ramsden and the Rosie, and attended the Yale Publishing Course. She has a master in publishing, is on the board at youth literary organisation Express Media and from 2013 to 2018 taught editing at RMIT University in Melbourne.
