Nardi Simpson

Nardi Simpson is a Yuwaalaraay storyteller from the NSW freshwater floodplains. As a musician and performer with folk duo Stiff Gins, Nardi has performed nationally and internationally for the past twenty-two years. Her debut novel Song of the Crocodile was winner of the 2018 Black&Write Fellowship and published by Hachette in 2020. Nardi lives in Sydney and is heavily involved in the sharing and teaching of culture in both her Sydney and Yuwaalaraay communities.
