Brodie Turner is a writer, performer, and consent advocate, living in the world as a trans woman, currently on stolen Wurundjeri country. Brodie’s writing practice has been focused on thought-pieces in student and queer publications, her own personal and professional blogs, formerly as a theatre reviewer and presently as a poet and playwright. She cannot escape the allure of alliteration, and she has stopped apologising for that. Recent credits including poetry performance art Eve St John, consent cabaret Burlesque by Force, and articles in Archer Magazine. Brodie’s proudest achievement was organising Consent Festival, which opened the 2019 Midsumma Festival.
