Veronica Heritage-Gorrie

Veronica Heritage-Gorrie is a proud Gunai/Kurnai woman, the author of ‘Black and Blue’, published by Scribe Publications. She is passionate in non-fiction memoir and is excited to extend this to film writing and writing Children’s books.

Ronnie’s achievements include:
• A recipient of the Creative Victoria’s First Peoples funding program for the writing of ‘Nullung’.
• Recipient of The Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship 2020.
• Recipient of the Inaugural First Nation Writer’s Residency for the Australian Council for the Arts 2021
• and the recipient of the First Nation Writer’s Fellowship for Varuna, the National Writers House 2021.
