Munira Tabassum Ahmed

Munira Tabassum Ahmed is a 15-year-old writer and performer, based in Western Sydney. As a performance poet, her work has been recognised by Bankstown Poetry Slam, Westside Poetry Slam and the Australian Poetry Slam. Her poetry is published or forthcoming in Voiceworks, The Lifted Brow, Sonora Review, Australian Poetry Journal, and elsewhere. She was recently shortlisted in The Hachette Australia Prize for Young Writers.
