Yamiko Marama

Yamiko is a writer, therapist and food truck owner from Naarm, Melbourne. Yamiko is an inaugural recipient of The Next Chapter Fellowship with The Wheeler Centre and is a contributor to Growing Up Queer in Australia. Most recently Yamiko was the overall winner of the Lord Mayor Creative Writing Award 2020 for her story ‘Thirty- Six Hours a Year’. Photo by Stuart Spence.
